Tocar y Luchar (To Play and to Fight) presents the story of El Sistema, Venezuela’s famous music education network, which produced Gustavo Dudamel. Directed by Alberto Arvelo, the award-winning film features rehearsal and concert scenes, and interviews with musicians such as Plácido Domingo, Claudio Abbado, and Simon Rattle, as well as José Antonio Abreu, El Sistema’s legendary founder and leader.
